The SIMS.net connector enables paper documents, letters and information to be directly scanned in to a pupil's file. The system is operated by keyboard and touch screen options at the point of scan and subject always to security authentication. This solution is based on eCopy, Toshiba and Capita technology and has been piloted by Fairfield High School in Bristol.

The system is now available to all schools using SIMS.net and will provide the ability to hold, distribute and keep electronic copies of all information. The advantages include saving of time, reduced need to type in information to the system, the ability to share information as required both internally and externally, the ability to email all documents from the system through Outlook, less need to hold paper files/information.

Importantly this solution can be acquired by schools from as little as £169 per month including all installation, hardware and software costs.
